In class we have been learning about poetry. Students enjoyed using the oil pastels to create images in their mind as they read to fully understand what the poem is about . As the kids were working I managed to take some few shots of them .

On our field trip to the Leighton center we were able to embrace the outdoors  on a nature walk and discover the true beauty of landscapes  with a sketch pad in hand. Students learned about the amazing historical artists Mr. and Mrs. Leighton . Students were able to live their life for the day as they visited the Leighton's house filled with beautiful artwork and cherished items from their time. Students got to create their very own printmaking masterpiece and their own vibrant and colourful paper ! It was such a great experience and we all had a wonderful time !
